description
set In Class-conscious England At The End Of The 18th Century, This Handsome, Limited Edition Revives The Classic, Humorous Story Of Love And Misunderstanding Between The Spirited And Opinionated Elizabeth Bennet And The Ever-so-proud Mr. Darcy. One Of Jane Austen's Most Beloved Novels, This Story Explores The Search For Marriage Among Its Young Characters, And The Necessity Of Putting Aside Both Pride And Prejudice In Order To Find An Appropriate Mate. Within Every Page Of Text And Moment Of Dialogue, Austen's Characteristic Social Satire Provides Cutting Observations Of The Customs Of The English Class System, And The Way That The Search For A Partner At That Time Was Inextricable From The Need To Secure A Certain Social And Economic Status. Reflejando Las Costumbres De La Clase Media Rural Inglesa Al Fin Del Siglo 28, Esta Bella Edición Limitada Reanima El Divertido Cuento Clásico De Amor Y Malas Interpretaciones Entre La Animada Y Terca Elizabeth Bennet Y Siempre Orgulloso Señor Darcy. Una De Las Obras Más Reconocidas De Jane Austen, La Novela Desarrolla El Tema De Cómo Las Jóvenes Buscan El Marido Apropiado Y Cómo Necesitan Dejar A Un Lado Su Orgullo Y Sus Prejuicios. Es Una Novela Realista, Con Cierto Aire De Comedia O Sátira Social Donde Quedan Reflejadas Las Costumbres De Las Clases Medias, Rurales E Inglesas Y Se Trata El Tema Del Matrimonio Y De Las Consecuencias Que Puede Traer Consigo A Casarse Para Conseguir Una Determinada Posición Social O Sólo Por Atracción Física.

Alternative description
Pride and Prejudice is an 1813 novel of manners written by Jane Austen. The novel follows the character development of Elizabeth Bennet, the dynamic protagonist of the book who learns about the repercussions of hasty judgments and comes to appreciate the difference between superficial goodness and actual goodness.
Mr. Bennet, owner of the Longbourn estate in Hertfordshire, has five daughters, but his property is entailed and can only be passed to a male heir. His wife also lacks an inheritance, so his family faces becoming very poor upon his death. Thus, it is imperative that at least one of the girls marry well to support the others, which is a motivation that drives the plot.
