A pesar de los cambios legislativos y sociales que en nuestro país han culminado con la aprobación del matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo, la homofobia sigue presente en numerosos sectores de la sociedad: las relaciones familiares, la falta de autoestima y la necesidad de salir del armario siguen siendo cuestiones que afectan profundamente al colectivo LGTB español. Manuel Ángel Soriano entrevista, en este libro de autoayuda, a una serie de gays, lesbianas, bisexuales y transexuales prestando especial atención a ciertos aspectos poco estudiados hasta ahora: la situación de lesbianas y gays mayores de 60 años, la sexualidad y la convivencia de los seropositivos con parejas no portado-ras del virus o la marginación que sufren las mujeres y los hombres bisexuales por parte de los heterosexuales y de la propia comunidad gay. Todos los entrevistados han respondido a un modelo de encuesta similar, en el que reflexionan sobre la infancia y la adolescencia, la toma de conciencia de la propia sexualidad, la visibilidad, la relación con los padres, la militancia en grupos de gays, lesbianas y transexuales y las perspectivas que ofrece el futuro..
