Sheij Safi-ur-Rahman Al-Mubarakfuri dar-us-salam, 1a. ed, Riyadh, Arabia Saudita, 2003
A complete authoritative book on the life of Prophet Muhammad (S) by Sheikh Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarkpuri. It was honored by the World Muslim League as first prize winner book. Whoever wants to comprehensively know the lifestyle of the Prophet (S) in detail must read this book. "Muhammad (S) is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him, are severe against the disbelievers, and merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and falling down prostrating (in prayer), seeking bounty from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. The mark of them (i.e. of their Faith) is on their faces (fore heads) from the traces of prostration (during prayers). This is their description in the Taurah (Torah), and their description in the Injeel (Gospel) is like a (sown) seed which sends forth its shoot, then makes it strong, and becomes thick and it stands straight on its stem, delighting the sowers, that He may enrage the disbelievers with them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous good deeds, forgiveness and a mighty reward (Paradise)." (Qur'an 48:29) The Prophet Muhammad (S) "The example of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth. Some of which was fertile soil that absorbed rain-water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance. (And) another portion of it was hard and held the rain-water and Allah benefited the people with it and they utilized it for drinking, (making their animals drink from it) and to irrigate the land for cultivation. (And) a portion of it was barren which could neither hold the water nor bring forth vegetation (then that land gave no benefits). The first is the example of the person who comprehends Allah's Religion (Islam) and gets benefit (from the knowledge) which Allah (Azawajal) has revealed through me (the Prophet) and learns and then teaches it to others. The (last example is that of a) person who does not care for it and does not take Allah's Guidance

nexusstc/Role of metal-binding proteins and peptides in bioremediation of toxic metals/63bd23e62f97a971266872b3a2e1dee6.pdf
Role of metal-binding proteins and peptides in bioremediation of toxic metals Mahmood-ur -Rahman; Hafiza Sania Khalid; Muhammad Farhan Akhtar; Munazza Ijaz; Muhammad Iqbal; Shazia Anwer Bukhari; Ghulam Mustafa; Kanval Shaukat Elsevier, Handbook of Bioremediation, 2021
Metal-binding proteins (MBP) and peptides are the molecules having ability to bind with heavy metals ions like cadmium (Cd), nickel (Ni), arsenic (As), and lead (Pb). MBPs remove heavy metals from the environment so that their hazardous effects are minimized. They have been exploited to enhance the metal accumulation by microorganisms especially bacteria because they respond to heavy metal stress by exclusion, compartmentalization, making complexes, or synthesis of binding proteins. There are several MBPs and peptides are known like, metallothioneins (MTs), phytochelatins (PCs), CdBP, CP, and HP. They eliminate heavy metals from the environment by making protein—metal ion complexes. Recently, transgenic plants have also been developed by using MTs from various sources for phytoremediation of heavy metal pollutants. Now the use of genetically modified plants for phytoremediation is getting popularity due to number of reasons. In this chapter the use of MBPs and peptides to eliminate heavy metals will be reviewed. Mechanisms of MBPs and peptides, their applications, and future scope will also be covered in the topic.

Genomic Sequence Analysis for Exon Prediction Using Adaptive Signal Processing Algorithms Md Zia Ur Rahman; Muhammad Zia Ur Rahman; Srinivasareddy Putluri CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group, CRC Press (Unlimited), [N.p.], 2021
This book addresses the issue of improving the accuracy in exon prediction in DNA sequences using various adaptive techniques based on different performance measures that are crucial in disease diagnosis and therapy. First, the authors present an overview of genomics engineering, structure of DNA sequence and its building blocks, genetic information flow in a cell, gene prediction along with its significance, and various types of gene prediction methods, followed by a review of literature starting with the biological background of genomic sequence analysis. Next, they cover various theoretical considerations of adaptive filtering techniques used for DNA analysis, with an introduction to adaptive filtering, properties of adaptive algorithms, and the need for development of adaptive exon predictors (AEPs) and structure of AEP used for DNA analysis. Then, they extend the approach of least mean squares (LMS) algorithm and its sign-based realizations with normalization factor for DNA analysis. They also present the normalized logarithmic-based realizations of least mean logarithmic squares (LMLS) and least logarithmic absolute difference (LLAD) adaptive algorithms that include normalized LMLS (NLMLS) algorithm, normalized LLAD (NLLAD) algorithm, and their signed variants. This book ends with an overview of the goals achieved and highlights the primary achievements using all proposed techniques. This book is intended to provide rigorous use of adaptive signal processing algorithms for genetic engineering, biomedical engineering, and bioinformatics and is useful for undergraduate and postgraduate students. This will also serve as a practical guide for Ph.D. students and researchers and will provide a number of research directions for further work.Features Presents an overview of genomics engineering, structure of DNA sequence and its building blocks, genetic information flow in a cell, gene prediction along with its significance, and various types of gene prediction methods Covers various theoretical considerations of adaptive filtering techniques used for DNA analysis, introduction to adaptive filtering, properties of adaptive algorithms, need for development of adaptive exon predictors (AEPs), and structure of AEP used for DNA analysis Extends the approach of LMS algorithm and its sign-based realizations with normalization factor for DNA analysis Presents the normalized logarithmic-based realizations of LMLS and LLAD adaptive algorithms that include normalized LMLS (NLMLS) algorithm, normalized LLAD (NLLAD) algorithm, and their signed variants Provides an overview of the goals achieved and highlights the primary achievements using all proposed techniques Dr. Md. An electronic nose is a chemical sensing electric device capable of detecting specific smells and odors efficiently. It consists of an array of sensors and a pattern recognition system mimicking the human olfactory system. Medical professionals employ smell detection from exhaled air and body odor in evaluating the physical health condition. Over the last decade, the use of electronic-nose-based technologies in healthcare and biology has steadily increased. Electronic noses are one of the distinctive devices utilized in biomedical applications because of their versatility, low cost, and rapid production of outcomes.
