Marching With Caesar- Conquest of Gaul R. W. Peake [Peake, R. W.] R.W. Peake, 2012-07-03
Marching With Caesar-Conquest of Gaul is a first-person narrative, written in the form of a memoir as dictated to a scribe of Titus Pullus, Legionary, Optio, First Spear Centurion of Caesar's 6th and 10th Legion. The memoir is written three years after his retirement as Camp Prefect, when Titus is 61 years old. Titus, along with his boyhood friend Vibius Domitius, joins the 10th Legion in the draft of 61 BC, when Gaius Julius Caesar is the governor of Spain. Titus and Vibius are assigned to a tent group, with seven other men who will become their closest friends during their times in the legion. Titus, Vibius and their comrades endure the harsh training regimen that made the legions the most feared military force in the ancient world. The 10th Legion is blooded in a series of actions in Spain, led by Caesar in a campaign that was the true beginning of one of the most brilliant military careers in history. Three years after joining the legions, the 10th is called on again, this time to be part of the subjugation of Gaul, one of the greatest feats of arms in any period of history. During the subsequent campaigns, the 10th cements its reputation as Caesar's most favored and trusted legion, and is involved in most of the major actions during this period. This first book of a completed series closes with Caesar crossing the Rubicon, and the 10th preparing to march to war, this time against fellow Romans.

Marching With Caesar: Civil War (Volume 3) R. W. Peake [Peake, R. W.] R.W. Peake; R. W. Peake, Marching With Caesar #2, 2012
In the second book of the critically acclaimed Marching With Caesar series, Titus Pullus and his friends in the 10th Legion are called on to serve as the agents of change as their general, Gaius Julius Caesar singlehandedly changes the Roman Republic to Empire. From Spain and the dusty plains of Pharsalus, to the streets of Rome itself, Titus must survive the battlefield and navigate the treacherous world of Roman politics. Helping Titus are his surviving tentmates, including his best friend Vibius Domitius, but like the rest of the Republic, their friendship is tested by the strife and fratricide that comes with civil war. At the same time, Titus has to deal with the challenges that have confronted career military members throughout the ages as he tries to balance the demands and heartache created by the long absences from his young family. Nevertheless, through it all Titus and the men of the 10th Legion continue Marching With Caesar.

Fraternitas Peake, R. W. R.W. Peake, Marching with Caesar #11, 2015
As Titus Porcinianus Pullus has learned, some enemies wear the same uniform, but now Titus is confronted with the fact that not all threats to him and those he loves can be dispatched with the Gallic sword passed down to him by his famous grandfather, Camp Prefect Titus Pullus. In Marching With Caesar-Fraternitas, the eleventh installment of the international bestselling Marching With Caesar® series, Titus’ professional challenges are secondary to those posed by the enlistment of his brother Sextus into the 8th Legion, a doomed romance with the daughter of an equestrian merchant, and the ambitions of his current Primus Pilus, Gaius Sempronius Atticus. These events occur against the backdrop of the larger political actions taking place in the middle of the reign of the Augustus, as powerful men in Rome try to manipulate events behind the scenes, centered on Augustus’ stepson Tiberius. Through a combination of events that are beyond his control, Titus finds himself accompanying his Primus Pilus, following in the footsteps of his illustrious grandfather, to face a Tribunal in Rome. But will he finally come face to face with Augustus, the man who has had such a dramatic impact on the fortunes of the Pullus family and on whom he had sworn to avenge himself in his family’s name?

Young Titus Porcinianus Pullus has survived his first campaign, following in the footsteps of not only his father, but his illustrious namesake, Titus Pullus. His achievements come to the notice of his Primus Pilus and he is promoted into the First Cohort as a result of his actions. However, as he is about to discover, the "Pax Romana" created by the first Emperor, Caesar Augustus, is still fraught with peril and danger. In this new era of peace, as Titus discovers, the direst threat to his safety and career comes from within as well as without. Forced into unwilling cooperation by his Primus Pilus, Titus must tread a careful path, fighting for his life, all while being on the front line in a newly conquered province that has yet to accept this new Pax Romana. Conquest of Gaul Peake, R W R.W. Peake, Marching With Caesar 1, 2012

Caesar Ascending-Conquest of Parthia R.W. Peake R.W. Peake, 2017
Caesar Ascending-Conquest of Parthia, is the second volume of the alternate history series in which Caesar survives the assassination attempt in March of 44 BC and carries out his planned invasion of Parthia. After a successful first year's campaign, where Caesar and his army capture the cities of Ctesiphon and Seleucia, Caesar is now determined to face and defeat the young Parthian king Phraates, who is just as intent on avoiding battle with the Roman general. For Titus Pullus, the giant Primus Pilus of the 10th Legion, and his comrades, matters are further complicated by the presence of a force called the Crassoi, the Roman survivors of the ill-fated campaign led by Marcus Crassus, who are now fighting for Parthia. What neither Caesar, nor any Roman, has any way of knowing is whether their former countrymen still hold any loyalty to Rome, or if the decade they have spent under Parthian control has been enough to switch their allegiance to their captors. All will be...

Titus Porcinianus Pullus has settled into life as a Centurion of the 1st Legion, stationed on the Rhine, but a revolt in his home province of Pannonia changes everything, both for him and for Rome. When the aging Augustus sends the young, untested Germanicus Julius Caesar to Pannonia at the head of a hastily assembled force, Tiberius summons Titus to return to his home province. Ostensibly sent to both advise and protect the youngster in whom the Princeps has placed so much hope, Titus quickly learns that Tiberius' motives are, at best, suspect, when the Germanicus Legion is sent against the Maezei, the tribe that murdered Titus' brother Sextus, the first in a series of events that required Titus' transfer from his original Legion after he avenged Sextus' death. Consequently, once more, a member of the Pullus family finds himself embroiled in the machinations and maneuvering of the second most powerful man in Rome, as Tiberius tries to ensure that his...
